If you want to have people against the fireworks in your photo, have a tripod and a selfie stick ready.

Since the festival takes place outdoors at night, it is not easy to take good photos. If you bring a tripod, you are less likely to botch your photos but get great photos of people against the awesome background of the fireworks.

If a tripod is too big to carry around, a simple selfie stick can do. It will come in handy when you take photos of people or group photos with the fireworks in the background.

“Come Prepared”

As you browse for information before going to the festival, you will probably come across some reviews of people who say their experiences with the fireworks festival would have been better had they brought some essentials. #Essential items #Other items to bring to the festival

STEP1. Bring essentials to keep yourself warm. Avoid getting a cold and save your seat with a mat.

Temperatures range widely from day to night in autumn. The cold air on an autumn night can make your hands holding your camera shake. Bring an extra shirt or a coat in case you need to keep yourself warm. A blanket can come in handy as you can cover yourself in it or wrap it around yourself. If you want to keep your seat, bringing a mat or an outdoor sitting mat is a good idea.

STEP2. The sun was too strong!
Block UV rays and stay hydrated!

You may want to go the site of the festival in advance during the day and save your seat, in which case you may fall victim to the strong UV rays. Sunscreen is essential, and sunglasses are also necessary.
The days are still hot in fall, which makes you sweat, and the autumn wind can easily make your skin dry. Drink water or sports drinks frequently to stay hydrated.

STEP3. Memories stay alive in photos.
Be prepared to create your own masterpiece!!

Since memories are best kept alive in photos, they are extremely important. What items do you need to take the best photos?
Some of the essential items are a camera or a smartphone, and a tripod or a selfie stick.
An extra battery is also a must as you may have to stay outdoors for many hours enjoying the festival.
A simple lighting device can help you take great photos of people and landscape.

STEP4. Don’t forget personal hygiene items to keep yourself clean!

You probably use these items every day but may easily forget to bring them to the festival.
Personal hygiene items!
You may drop some food you buy from a food truck on yourself and need to clean your hands or remove the stain from your clothes.
When you need to remove stains or water, handkerchief or wet tissue comes in handy.
Plus, don’t forget to bring a plastic bag to throw waste in and bring back home. Please help keep the festival clean and pleasant by doing your part as a mature citizen while enjoying the festival.

How are fireworks made?

We are always mesmerized by the beauty of fireworks decorating the night sky.

Before the fireworks are displayed to the public, fireworks experts have spent many hours researching various forms and scales of fireworks.

The Pyrotechnics Research Center explains everything as to fireworks from the basic principle of fireworks to the explosive finale event to impress all visitors.

The technology is developed at the research center.

An aerial shell is made of gunpowder, which is a well-known explosive, mixed with metal salts and chemicals. The chemical reaction results in an explosion.

Pyrotechnicians research the mixture of materials, combustion reactions, and firework reactions to create various designs.

Pyrotechnics

Of many firework types, the most common one is called “ground fireworks.” A ground firework is shot 80 meters above the ground to explode and display various designs.

Other variations are derived from the same principle. Pyrotechnicians at the research center assemble and concoct formulations, and hydrate them before using them.

Firework Launchpad

Pyrotechnicians first decide on the purpose and design effect, such as the size, number, and item, of the fireworks and create the program. They test the explosion using computer-generated simulation programs to complete the design. They set up the firework rockets & launchers following the designed layout and location and launch, and ignite the firework using a remote control.

At the onsite firework launchpad, firework products created by pyrotechnicians are launched into the launchpad and ignited at the pre-set time and order.
